About Us
Sahara Sisters Belly Dance Club was officially formed in September 2004 from all levels of experience in the dance. We now meet weekly in Chippenham Wiltshire as a group of enthusiasts who love to get together to dance in the middle eastern traditions. As a self managed non profit making organisation,all monies made from our meetings and public performances are reinvested in the Club to enable us to bring new expertise from various Teachers/Artistes such as Karine Butchart, Nazreen Hassan, Zafirah, Sue Bickell, Anna Povey, Nancy King and our very special friend Jemal.
The club is not solely for dance. Companionship is also high on the agenda and everyone of all ages is welcome to come along and get totally inspired by this wonderful obsession.
